A few months ago, I read and reviewed a wonderful book that motivated me in many ways and still does that whenever I
pick it up, if you are still not able to guess it, I’m talking about the book
Vitamin H by Abhishek Vipul Thakkar – and in case you guessed it right, just
give a slight pat on your back. So, if you remember, the book was arranged in
such a way that you just need to read a page each day and let the wisdom get
absorbed in you. The book is simply a collection of motivational quotes,
messages, and sayings that will pump in the motivation if you lack any.
Recently the author released the second volume of Vitamin H and I wasted no
time in picking up a copy for myself. Today I will be sharing my experience
with Volume two and will tell if it was worth reading or just a waste of time.
Let's begin.

About the Book
Vitamin H Volume 2 is a collection of
quotes, thoughts, messages, and sayings, inspired by Hindu philosophy and
various other scriptures from around the world, which aims to render solace,
divine bliss, and unfettered joy to the readers, just like the first volume.
Each page of the book is embedded with chunks and slices of wisdom literature
which can be used to transform your ordinary lives into extraordinary. The
motivational quotes presented in volume 2 of Vitamin H takes the readers on a
path of self-discovery and self-realization, nurturing their minds in a way to
achieve their dreams.
My Review
I loved volume one of Vitamin H and I still have a
copy on my bookshelf, which I pick up every now and then when I need some
motivation juice. Just like volume one, the second part did not disappoint me
at all. The book is mere 173 pages long and mostly contains a single quote per
page, so it’s easy to run through and finish it in an hour, but just going
through the quotes won’t do you any good, just like the volume one, the sequel
is meant to be read one-page-a-day for the next 173 days. The sequel continues on
from where the first volume ended, page 112 and takes you forward from there.
The second volume of Vitamin H also touches the spiritual
side within you with its enlightening quotes throwing light on the forgotten
values of Sanatana dharma. The author also inspires its readers in adopting the
spiritual life and trusting the Divine intelligence when nothing goes their
way. With the wisdom filled quotes, the author compels its readers to keep
holding on and moving forward no matter how hard the circumstances one might
come across, and to never back down in even the hardest situations. Additionally,
the author discusses on social issues like caste-system and oppression of women,
which are slowly eating their way into humanity. The author talks about the
equality in society and how we should treat each individual equally, he also
emphasizes the importance of educating girls and stopping their mistreatment.
The quotes given in Vitamin H volume 2 reek of a poetic vibe which keeps you for
wanting more and more, the beautifully written messages are embedded with the
rich philosophy of the spiritual books and practices like the Bhagavad Gita, Buddhism
and The New Testament, which have to power to transform your life.
Just like the first volume, Vitamin H volume 2 helps
the reader in finding their own path towards self-discovery and divine bliss.
The inspirational messages throughout the pages will motivate you to propel your
life in a new and more spiritual direction, soothing your mind by filling in a
lot of positivity and hope that everything will be alright. The wisdom filled
messages motivate you to change your life for good and will also help you in
your toughest life battles, ensuring that you emerge victorious.
Conclusion
Vitamin H Volume 2 is as good as the first volume,
but still feels very different. If you read both the volumes back-to-back, you’ll
be able to see the transformation clearly from one spect to the other. The
first volume had a very different calmness to it while the second one is more spiritually
enlightened. I really like the one-quote-a-day style of Vitamin H series as it
is really easy to follow daily as it does not take a lot of your time. The best
way to absorb the maximum wisdom out of the messages is to read them a couple
of times and then giving in a thought until the message is clearly imprinted
inside your mind. As I said in my previous review, Vitamin H has a very good
repetitive value to it, which means you can read this book as many times as you
like and it will still feel very new each time. This isn’t a kind of book which
you just go through once and then put it aside, its something which you should
hold on to and keep reading and re-reading multiple times. I really enjoyed
reading the volume 2 of Vitamin H and am hoping for the 3rd volume
to arrive, I will definitely recommend this book to everyone who aspires to
succeed.
